Lorica elongate, ellipsoidal to ovoid; posterior end with short spines. Cells 28–34 µm long and 18–22 µm broad; lorica covered by short spines and punctate. Apical pore small and crowned by broad conical to cylindrical collar, 6–8 µm long and 4–6 µm broad.
